Gross Motor Development

Lay your baby on a play mat with soft objects dangling to encourage batting, kicking, and reaching.

Encourage tummy time by placing colorful, soft toys within sight and slightly out of reach to encourage repositioning.


Move baby safe objects with contrasting or bright colors back and forth to encourage tracking and movement.

Fine Motor Development
Help your baby to bring their hands together and to feel and explore different textured objects.

Narrate play with phrases such as "Look at you reaching" and "You knocked down the blocks" to encourage body awareness.

Give your baby a variety of toys of different sizes and textures that encourage grasping such as rattles or soft squeezable toys.
