The Biblical definition of love is sacrificial, a love that gives first and expects nothing in return. Biblical love grants believers a peace that surpasses all understanding, which comes only from Christ.

John 3:16- “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will never die but have everlasting life.”
In the Bible, Jesus tells us how to love God: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind …and love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37, 39)
