Respond to the sounds your baby makes, ask questions and narrate throughout your day. “Do you like ...?' I see you smiling" "Are you calling me?"

"Talk" to your baby by looking at them and speaking and imitating the sounds they make. Be expressive.

While reading a book with your baby, hold it close enough for your them to touch it and point to it. Point to and talk about what you see.

Talk to children by describing actions during feeding, and diapering

Play games that imitate actions, such as peek-a-boo, clapping, blowing kisses, “Pat-a-Cake,” “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and waving bye-bye.
